SA pilot UC1 will run in two iterations. The first iteration will run from October 2021 till January 2022. The second iteration will run from May 2022 till October 2022.
First iteration
The first pilot run includes student’s application to master studies in a digital-by-default and once-only manner. The following simplifications have been done:
- Two-country scenario are validated, i.e. a student applying to higher education comes from the Data Provider country;
- Only Applications to Master studies (2nd Bologna level) are validated;
- One type of evidence (‘higher education diploma’) is used by the DCs and DPs involved;
- There is one Data Provider per Member State.
Second iteration
The final pilot run will include the following additional functionalities:
- Three-country scenario will be validated, i.e. a student applying to higher education will come from the third country (different from the Data provider or Data Consumer country);
- Application to Bachelor studies (1st Bologna level) will be enabled in Slovenia and Portugal as DEs and in Spain as DO;
- Average grade will be included in the higher education diploma evidence;
- Additional evidence type will be used proving completion of secondary education.
