Since 2012 the Ministry of Education, Science, and Sport of Republic of Slovenia has been operating the eVŠ system (The records and analytical information system of higher education in the Republic of Slovenia). Every candidate who wishes to enrol at one of the Slovenian higher education institution must submit an application through this system.

The eVŠ system at the Ministry of Education, Science, and Sport of Republic of Slovenia contains information about all students studying or have studied at one of the Slovenian higher education institutions.
